CHRONICLES OF THE EVER-WATCHING OBSERVER
INK AND OIL ON WOOD
2023
Statement The process began with a single image, generated and printed across 64 silkscreen screens at 168 by 130 inches. The backdrop was photographed, edited, and painted from. The smaller paintings were made from the larger surface. The screens were reused for a final set of abstract prints. Each step consumed the previous one. Images were assembled digitally, cycled between screen and surface, printed, painted and rephotographed until the origin was no longer traceable. The series is a record of that cycle.
