Sandra Lee Gallery presents a live painting performance by artist Brett Amory. Amory’s current series Waiting consists oversized figure paintings that capture the moments that linger between actions. His subjects are anonymous, yet as they appear out of a stark and decrepit background they begin to take the form of the familiar. With the fair as his audience, he will spend the time cultivating the nuances of a single instant. Brett Amory has been prominently featured in a number of publications as well as solo exhibitions in the U.S and London. Sandra Lee Gallery is proud to represent his work at the San Francisco Fine Art Fair 2011.
