PREVIEW: Ozarts White Light Waiting Brett Amory
Born in Chesabpeake (Virginia, 1975), Brett Amory is Fine Arts graduated in 2005. Four years before, he started his series entitled “Waiting”. A collection of oils on wood where, cut and isolated, by day as by night, urban shots are crossed by lonely figures, depicting our need of relations and our inability to face it in the contemporaneous cities. A never-ending waiting, frozen through time, accentuated by the impoverishment of the surrounding elements and the unconditional repetition of a same scene whatever may be its frame.
Brett Amory exhibited, solo or in group, in New York, Miami, San Francisco, London or Los Angeles, and will be honored from 2 September to 14 October at the Anno Domini Gallery of San Jose (CA).
